The Person Behind Models and Pageant
Edelcita Milan is a Filipina Australian, ex Flight Attendant at Emirates who has travelled the world extensively. She has lived in Asia, Middle East and have called Perth Western Australia her home since 1999. She had experience working for Foreign Service at the Republic of the Philippines.
Once a local pageant candidate Edel is a now qualified Mentor, Hair and MakeUp Artist, Photographer and Pageant Coach. She trains and coaches models & pageant candidates. Teaching catwalk, posing, styling and interview is her passion. She runs workshops and encourages them to build their confidence. With her collaborating team she ensures Models and Pageant talents are ready to compete for local, national and international competitions. She tried her best to provide a seamless process in the pageant and modelling journey. As a licensed model/talent agent she supplies models to hiring businesses for photography, videography and other commercial work.
On her spare time she volunteers for the community. She was as a child mentor at Raise Foundation. She helps maintain the mobile showers for One Voice organisation to give people who live in the streets access to shower. She served meals to them at Vic Park Community Centre. She participates in beach clean up with Salt Water Clean Up WA. She donates food to Food Bank thru FAHWA charity. Just because she loves going to the beach she donates to Surf Life Saving WA and appreciate the work they do keeping the good condition of the beach and being to save life in an emergency. She’s adventurous and does activities such as snorkelling, scuba diving, surfing, kite surfing, wakeboarding, sailing, aerobatic flights and sky diving. She also love hiking, road trips, overseas travels and will be going to Antarctic expedition.
On the weekends she work as a support worker for people with disability and an advocate for her kid who has autism. Currently she is taking a part-time Diploma in Fashion Design and Merchandise working her way up to becoming a Fashion Designer.
